Homework 65 - The Summertime Joint
With the dope weather we've been having we figure we'd better put the sun to some good use and turn it into some sunworthy blaps so this week we need you guys to turn in a Summertime themed beat!
RULES
So whats a summertime beat?
Good question, basically anything that'll compliment good ol sunshine weather!, whether you feel its some laid back boombap over jazz loops or a beach worthy summertime synth banger!, similar to the "FIFTY" week you could also use it as a play on words or summertime theme (i.e. flip the beach boys, KC and the Sunshine band, Summer Breeze by the Isley Brothers, Summer Madness by Kool & The Gang etc...you get the picture) we're in dope ass beat territory with this pretty much giving you an open licence to turn something in!.
Submit your beats to homework@louisden.com please dont send them to the myspace or PM them to me on the forum!! dont want to chase beats in the session!!.
DEADLINE
Beats are due 11th July, stream should start by 19:00 at the latest, stay tuned to @louisden on twitter, bring a cool box and a few brews with you and we'll be playing these summertime blaps in the lab!
